Restaurant description

The Great Chase has a look that blends the antique and the modern, with rustic touches and wood block tables. Using the finest meats, seasonal game, seafood, and vegetables, contemporary twists are added to traditional favourites.

The Great Chase brings fine food and excellent eating to unpretentious surroundings, with a compact menu which shows off a strong British core with pan-global influences, summing up the essence of multicultural London.

The pedigree of the kitchen at Great Chase London is backed up by a non-alcoholic bar that serves an excellent collection of fine teas. Cordial alchemist and sommelier William Wragg spins his magic to create some surprisingly punchy alcohol-free concoctions. The Tayberry Spritz, made with a Tayberry and Rose cordial (courtesy of the Gimlet bar, and made using ingredients from their own garden) and the Bees Knees Fizz, made with black pepper and lavender vinegar mist are particular favourites.

I had booked a table for two to try the famous Sunday roast and was not disappointed. The restaurant is a cozy space with a rustic and homely feel. My self and parent were greeted warmly and shown to our table. The Sunday menu was limited to roasts but that was exactly what we were after. I had the lamb and my wife went for the beef. The dishes were large in portion and cooked to perfection. The meat in both dishes were tender and tasty. We ended our meal with two cups of fresh coffee, which were again delicious. A perfect halal restaurant for someone looking for a fulfilling Sunday roast meal. I would definitely go again.

Really nice little restaurant in a quiet location within busy central London. Despite being small, it has great character and a very nice "vibe" and feeling to the place. Fantastic service, really friendly staff - it just added to the whole experience. The food was fantastic, delicious and well presented, but what made the whole thing come together for me was the service and staff
