The Great Chase has a look that blends the antique and the modern, with rustic touches and wood block tables. Using the finest meats, seasonal game, seafood, and vegetables, contemporary twists are added to traditional favourites.

Head chef Radek Nitkowski (formerly of Dean Street Town House and Cambridge street Kitchen) brings fine food and excellent eating to unpretentious surroundings. With dishes like the free-range chicken breast with asparagus, croquettes and spicy miso aioli, or the mozzarella, heritage tomato, Ogliarola olive oil and pistachio, the compact Great Chase menu shows off a strong British core with pan-global influences, summing up the essence of multicultural London.

The pedigree of the kitchen at Great Chase London is backed up by a non-alcoholic bar that serves an excellent collection of fine teas. Cordial alchemist and sommelier William Wragg spins his magic to create some surprisingly punchy alcohol-free concoctions. The Tayberry Spritz, made with a Tayberry and Rose cordial (courtesy of the Gimlet bar, and made using ingredients from their own garden) and the Bees Knees Fizz, made with black pepper and lavender vinegar mist are particular favourites.

Our first time eating here and we'd highly recommend. Small restaurant, unique concept, HIGHLY attentive and very friendly service. Food was delicious. Excellent combination of flavours on the plate. Recommend the lamb shank with miso + buttermilk, chicken is beautiful too and the cheesecake with chocolate crumb and melon coulis was also gorgeous! Thanks guys :)

I went there with couple of my friends to try out the Iftar offer. We loved the food, ambiance and the hospitality. Loved it so much that I made another booking for this week right before leaving last time. The host was knowledgeable and warm to all his guests and paid attention to every details one could think of. I found the menu to be priced reasonably. Overall, this had definitely made it to list of favourite restaurants in London!

The overall experience was a delight, from the reservation process up until dessert. Very well organised. The iftar menu during Ramadan was great and the customer service was lovely. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for something a bit special but also affordable.

It was Ramadan so we opted for the Iftar Menu obviously. I have to say the food was really nice from the complimentary dates and bread with olive oil to the the prawn tempura and beef croquette to the baby potatoes. The one criticism I did have was the 32 dry aged Angus sirloin steak. By no means am I a steak aficionado but I thought the steak was not to my liking nor my friends who by the way are serious steak eaters. Firstly, they had asked for medium well cooked and it came out more medium rare (more on the rare side). Then their was the issue of not enough steak knives for the table so me and my friend had to share for around 5 minutes whilst we kept swapping with the other using the butter knife (which by the way is no easy feat cutting steak). Also they felt the taste wasn't as they expected and it wasn't to any of our liking. One of my friends then ordered the BBQ chicken which came with all the trimmings and they did say it was great. I would highly recommend and definitely visit again. I just wasn't sure about the steak, maybe it was just me.

The great chase is small and unpretentious. We were welcomed warmly and served quickly- which is always appreciated for a pre theatre meal! The food was super! Amongst our group we tried lamb, trout, ribeye and sirloin
. All were delicious but the rib eye was heavenly! The non alcoholic drinks were really tasty, no one missed the alcohol at all. Our rare teas, served with dessert, were the perfect accompaniment and were served with loving care by our knowledgeable waiter. A nice touch was the opportunity to taste test an experimental apricot, fennel and orange cordial that we all loved - if it appears on the drinks menu I highly recommend! A great meal at the great chase!

Warm, friendly, welcoming & attentive staff. Mockctails were decent. The brunch special of duck confit on banana pancakes with a fried egg & maple gravy was very tasty. The duck was extremely moist and succulent. The pancakes were fluffy.

The deconstructed cheesecake was delicate and delicious. Wish they had more meat options on the brunch menu.

Brilliant atmosphere. Food was first class and on point. Cannot fault it. Prayer facility was a bonus. Me and my girlfriends have already decided to return.
