One of my favourite restaurants. Always faultless in every way.

It has been years since I last visited the Goring Hotel - and I'm pleased to report that the services are as good as ever - from the welcome at the door, and assistance with coats, to the excellent reception and service in the bar and restaurant.

Fabulous dinner. The lobster omelette was spectacular as was the risotto. The cod was an incredible taste adventure too - only the quail (farmed) was slightly less impressive. Chocolate pudding was orgasmic. Coffee and petit fours brilliant. Service impeccable. Thoroughly recommend.

The welcome by the dooman, the maitre'd and all the serving staff was excellent, as was the service. The food was excellent and we felt that , although we didn't pay (friends birthday present to me) the meal was good value The room itself was very 'colonial' and in keeping with the overall ambiance of the hotel..an oasis as it were, where you can forget the outside world for a few hours I would certainly go back

Absolutely fantastic! Limited menu as part of the deal however everything my wife and I ordered was delicious and the service to go with it was exceptional.

Not having been to the Goring Dining Room for a while I was glad to see it has lost none of its charm. The service is impeccable without being intrusive. As it was a Thursday lunch we all three of us enjoyed the roast beef. Two of us had the Eggs Drumkilbo, the Queen Mother's favourite apparently and the dish was much enjoyed, as was the risotto starter. The desserts of trifle and caramel sponge made a tasty finish to the lunch. Having been to Siren, the new seafood restaurant at the Goring, I have to say that I prefer the Dining Room for the general air of peace and quiet. I found Siren far too noisy.

First class as always. Quiet, courteous, friendly staff, superb service, excellent food, a well-chosen bottle of wine on the advice of an experienced somelier. Altogether an unrushed, pleasant and relaxed evening with old friends in quiet, comfortable surroundings. Exactly what was called for. It is my favourite place in London for such occasions and I go back year after year.
