We went to The Goring for a special occasion and booked their special lunchtime menu of 3 courses plus champagne for £52. The food was delicious and everything was very elegantly presented. Happy to recommend.

Exceptional food and service, could not fault it. Wonderful lighting which gives a mellow glow as the night falls and enhances the interior colours and fabrics.

It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. We arrived early so had a drink at the hotel bar. The service was excellent and we were led to the restaurant for dinner afterwards. It was a set menu but the choices were all good. Three of us had three different choices and we were all happy with it. Service was attentive and the sommelier did a good job in recommending a decent wine at a great value. Overall, exceeded my expectations.

Pleasant light-filled room, excellent service, delightful food, especially the vegetarian menu for one guest.

Service and food excellent. However, while the dining room was delightful the bar area lacked any warmth and character.

Beautiful setting, excellent service, lots of menu choices, and delicious food, beautifully presented. One of the best restaurants I know. Can't pick out a favourite dish, though! And very good value for money. I have had afternoon tea several times and would say the same about that.
