Overlooked by the stunning Cutty Sark, The Gipsy Moth is an inviting nautical-themed pub with a fantastic selection of international beers. Offering a packed menu of seasonal dishes, there is also an outdoor bar, and patio area with retractable roof.
The Gipsy Moth menu features a great selection of recipes, from classic pub favourites, through to adventurous international creations. There are light bites from the bar, such as British Black Combe ham, salami, sun blushed tomatoes and toasted bloomer, as well as vegetarian options like the pea, feta and mint arancini balls. Pub classics are given gourmet tweaks, like the pork, leek and Welsh rarebit sausages, and there are also favourites such as slow-cooked British beef short rib with bone marrow sauce.
For pudding, diners are treated to recipes like carrot cake and orange cheesecake with Devonshire toffee sauce, and a full British cheeseboard. The Gipsy Moth in Greenwich drinks menu is truly eclectic, and features black spiced rum, local ales, and Belgian fruit beer.
Perfectly situated for those looking for a rest from the Greenwich tourist trails, The Gipsy Moth in London is a truly characterful pub. Cutty Sark Tube Station is only 2 minutes' walk away.

Customer reviews for The Gipsy Moth
(**** 18 July 2017 by Leslie Booth from London
I have to admit our visit to Gypsy Moth on Friday 14th July was disappointing. I had booked our reservation for 6pm, which I had mentioned in the notes was for leaving drinks, so there would be people dropping in and out. By 7pm I was asked to move from my reserved table because another reservation was due, and meant to sit in the same exact place where I had already booked our table. I don't think that was proper planning, and it made me feel like my reservation wasn't very important compared to the next one.
I also ordered food to the table from the bar, but no one ever brought the food over. We could see our food sitting under the heat lamp, so I went back to the bar and asked the chap I'd ordered through to check on my food, which he said he would 'chase it up.' and then proceeded to do exactly nothing except chat to a girl at the bar. So finally my husband went to the pass, where my food was still sitting under the heat lamps, and asked a member of staff with purple hair if that food could be for us? And she was very rude to him, giving him attitude, and acting like it was putting her out to serve us our food which we had been waiting far too long for in the first place. Overall, I used to like Gypsy Moth, now I'm sure I will never go back there. Quite a shame, really.
