The evening was a great experience from start to finish. The staff were all very polite. A nice touch was we were asked if we would like to sit by the window that had a super view over the harbour. The food was excellent. We both had the chicken and chocolate mousse for dessert which was yummy.

This was our first visit to The Garden Restaurant and we were all (4) very impressed and delighted. The decor is beautiful, spacious and a lovely old building....the view is outstanding over the sea looking out towards Mousehole. The service was excellent, polite, friendly and attentive. The choice on the menu was very good.... and all the meals were enjoyable.... we had no complaints whatsoever with any of it.

Fantastic food at a very reasonable price. Shame about the lighting which was too bright and undermined any sense of atmosphere. If the lighting was right this place would get 5 stars

A small cozy restaurant with pretty interior and nice view. The staff were friendly and frequently asked us how we enjoy the afternoon tea and if we wish additional order. There weren’t so many types of drink to choose in the afternoon tea menu, but the quality of food and drink was pretty good and it appeared a great value for the price. It will work perfect if you are a small group and prefer somewhere peaceful.

My friends had a lovely afternoon tea on the two occasions l visited. Unfortunately, l’m gluten free and the food was disappointing. Very expensive for shop bought cakes, however, the sandwiches were excellent and the ambiance is always nice.
