Restaurant description

While a quintessentially British country pub near to Stratford-upon-Avon, The Fuzzy Duck also has a modern, boutique outlook. Featuring a gourmet British menu best described as ‘contemporary Cotswold’, it prizes its sleek bar with both classic and innovative cocktails and provides luxurious lodging for guests.

Boasting British-sourced ingredients, The Fuzzy Duck menu offers eclectic, seasonal dishes, with lines specifically for kids, Sunday lunch and breakfast. It proffers mouth-watering choices such as wild rabbit ravioli with sweet cicely beurre blanc or the Ducky Fuzz supper, with duck breast, confit legs and faggots.

The Fuzzy Duck in Armscote was formerly a picturesque Coaching Inn, but has been tastefully refurbished by those behind Baylis & Harding. With a sleek white interior, yet rustic exposed beams, flagstone floors and roaring fireplaces, it poses the ideal duality of old and new, befitting of its pastoral setting.

The Fuzzy Duck is just 14 minutes’ drive from Stratford-upon-Avon in the picturesque Warwickshire hamlet of Armscote, nestled in the beautiful hills and valleys of the Cotswolds.

Great table, great service, restaurant was full so car park a little constricted, great gin selection, limited wine selection albeit good. Excellent menu - particularly recommend Dave Moore's steaks.

I brought my girlfriend here for lunch and was instantly greeted by friendly staff and a warm, inviting atmosphere. We had lots to choose from on the menu, the food was delicious and really well presented on our plates. The staff couldn’t do enough for us, making sure we had everything we needed including drinks and condiments. Will definitely be back again!

First class service and food. The best Sunday lunch we have had for years. It's a shame they accept dogs in the dining area. Not everyone including me like to eat with dogs in close proximity.

Welcoming atmosphere, friendly, competent & attentive staff. Interesting menu which followed through with well prepared tasty food. A lovely twice baked souffle as a starter, tasty pork & fish , well presented & perfectly seasoned. Should have passed on the chocolate concoction ( whatsamacaalit ) but would have missed a treat !! Well done. The wine list could be expanded a little, particularly in the sub £30 department. However, the Rioja was very drinkable.

Nice ambiance spoilt with smoke alarm going off 4 times during meal. Pork dish all brown no colour. Shame this was birthday treat.
