Boasting traditional British pub food in a pretty countryside setting, The Foxglove was constructed in the 19th century and has Victorian charm in its oak and brick furnishings. It values warm hospitality, through the Innkeeper’s Lodge, the cosy hearth and the al fresco beer garden.
Hearty Sunday roasts and trusty British dishes head The Foxglove menu, and a range just for kids offers mini versions of pub favourites. Signature Vintage pies offer fillings like beef & merlot with buttered peas, while The Foxglove ‘Vintage classics’ menu includes lemon & garlic-roasted chicken with seasoned chips.
Paying homage to the Great British pub, the Vintage Inn bar stock includes cask-conditioned beers, real ales and a meticulously compiled wine list. Thirst-quenching offerings include seasonal non-alcoholic cocktails and freshly-pressed juices, and rich coffee is brewed freshly throughout the day.
Just 4 minutes’ drive from Stocksmoor Train Station in the country, The Foxglove is also only 10 minutes from central Huddersfield.

the food was amazing we all ordered from the Sunday lunch menu and had beef or the pork belly.the portion size was perfect and that includes the meat.on previos visits sometimes the meat portion is alittle on the small or extreme compared to someone elses.would like to see a green veg as a extra side option.

We were greeted warmly by staff and although we had arrived early we were shown to a table right away. Our waiter George was very helpful and explained the offers available that evening and was very attentive throughout the evening. We enjoyed the food we had chosen and felt that the meals had been good value.

We informed the waitress that one of the party was in a rush because she had to go to work. The waitress brought the food quickly and also the bill at the end (she remembered my request) Sadly all the food didn't match up to the service! My wife had salmon which was very good, my daughter's fish was quite greasy and my turkey seemed to have been kept for a while the yorkshire pudding was hard and I was unable to cut into the roast potatoes.
