The service is impeccable and there chicken wings were tasty. I love how the restaurant has a good vibe.

A haven of greenery in Monument, The Folly Bar is a botanically-themed restaurant and bar from restaurateurs Drake and Morgan. Modern European dishes partner exciting cocktails at this quirky setting, characterised by giant Norwegian spruce trees.

A kaleidoscopic menu at The Folly Bar ranges from British classic beer-battered fish and chips, to prawn lollipops and a wagyu burger with blue cheese. Succulent steaks are served with chips, watercress and a choice of sauce, while a breakfast and brunch menu offers a variety of options from around the world.

Tree trunks run the length of the basement and up into the main bar at The Folly Bar in London, accompanying plant-pot lampshades and a beehive-inspired bar. Drinks range from hearty ales to fairytale-inspired cocktails, while the ‘potting shed’ deli offers delights from Borough market.

The Folly Bar Gracechurch Street is just a minute’s walk from Monument Station, and runs frequent cocktail and flambé classes.

Great venue for dancing and meeting friends found it too noisy really for meaningful conversation. Food was ok nothing special.

Service was poor, had to ask for our order to be taken and where our food was.
I ordered the duck hash and it was awful - just a piece of duck fat on some potatoes

First of all the staff couldn't find my booking, though they did rapidly take us to a table. When the wine arrived it was warm and when the food came it was cold. The staff were apologetic , helpful , friendly and quick to put things right.
I am not sure I would want to go there again though

Ok, but no choice of where to sit, even though room was available, got taken downstairs. Food was pretty average, had the warm salmon salad, not worth the money.

It was a nice, buzzy atmosphere, and our waiter was very sweet and attentive. However, it was a bit too loud for great conversation and the service was a bit delayed. Wasn't massively keen on the shared tables.

The food and place was lovely, but we waited ages to get served drinks and get the bill.

Chips could have been hotter, chicken very nice. Meals OK.
