A basement hideout, The Factory House offers quirky yet indulgent British dining. Nostalgic Victorian throwbacks see diners clock-in on a workhouse-style shift card, while a flash open kitchen reveals an Argentinian charcoal-fired grill.
An emporium of retro design, The Factory House dining room is filled with old station clocks, exposed pipes, mismatched upholstery and typewriter-print menus, from which guests can select much-loved British recipes. Sample steaks from the Josper grill, slow-cooked beef cheek pie with pork knuckle, oxtail and Stilton, or salted caramel and bourbon sundae.
Breakfasts offer a luxurious start to the day, with dishes like 125g sirloin steak with 2 fried free range eggs, or a full English breakfast. A knowledgably compiled drinks menu at Factory House restaurant includes a lengthy stock of easy drinking and vintages wines, beers, juices, cocktails and coffee.
Billed a ‘refuge for the modern day industrialist’, The Factory House in London is set beneath the majestic Leadenhall Market. Fenchurch Street Rail Station is a 4-minute walk away.

Food was good, service wasn't great - very slow for breakfast which left us having to rush to finish our food before we had to go.
