Inside a stunningly converted Methodist chapel now running over 3 floors, The Emporium includes a wine bar and brasserie, cafe, and interior design store. Boasting Parisian Grand Cafe style, drinking and dining here is relaxed and informal, with occasional live music events.
The Emporium menu is extensive, catering for people throughout the day. In the cafe section, speciality stone-baked pizzas feature alongside soups and sandwiches. The brasserie serves a range of brunch dishes, including Champagne breakfasts with smoked salmon, and also has an irresistible range of French-inspired recipes such as Brie and Camembert crème brûlée, and breast of Goosnargh chicken with Parisienne potatoes.
There is a carefully crafted wine list at The Emporium Clitheroe, featuring Old and New World vintages, as well as a cocktails and beers on draught and by the bottle. The dessert menu boasts traditional favourites like sticky toffee pudding and peach Melba.
Filled with creative charm, The Emporium in Lancashire is just 6 minutes' walk from Clitheroe Rail Station.

Great pizzas and attentive staff
25 August 2019
We had Sunday Roast which was excellent along with a starter and deserts, the staff were very friendly and efficient. Although we booked this meal as it advertised Roast and Jazz featuring a live group unfortunately with no fault of the staff the group did not turn up.

Went on Sunday 25th August and booked online said there was Jazz Band from 3.00p.m. There was no Jazz playing. Service was very poor, and no one came to take our order for ages.Very disappointed.

Service was poor and very slow - hardly any staff around - but that is nothing new and about the only thing which lets the place down. Food was very good - everyone enjoyed it. Had Fish Stew and it was absolutely delicious.

We sat outside in the sunshine with a few drinks prior to being seated. Booked a table for 4 in a quiet area of the restaurant. The Emporium accommodated us perfectly! The guys ate mussels and said it was a great choice. I had the prawn & chilli pizza and Eileen had the chicken gougons - lovely.

We booked for the beat the clock offer on a Sunday afternoon and as expected the place was buzzing. We were shown to our table and given menus promptly and our drinks orders taken fairly soon afterwards. Our booking was for 4.30 and our food order was taken at 4.50. It appeared to me that the staff were run off their feet and there were insufficient staff to cope. We finally received our food at 5.45, a wait of 55 minutes! As we had two young children with us it was difficult to keep them occupied whilst waiting and they were very hungry. Whilst the food was very good when it finally arrived and excellent value for the price paid, I'm not sure we would visit again purely because of the long wait for food.
