Inside a stunningly converted Methodist chapel now running over 3 floors, The Emporium includes a wine bar and brasserie, cafe, and interior design store. Boasting Parisian Grand Cafe style, drinking and dining here is relaxed and informal, with occasional live music events.

The Emporium menu is extensive, catering for people throughout the day. In the cafe section, speciality stone-baked pizzas feature alongside soups and sandwiches. The brasserie serves a range of brunch dishes, including Champagne breakfasts with smoked salmon, and also has an irresistible range of French-inspired recipes such as Brie and Camembert crème brûlée, and breast of Goosnargh chicken with Parisienne potatoes.

There is a carefully crafted wine list at The Emporium Clitheroe, featuring Old and New World vintages, as well as a cocktails and beers on draught and by the bottle. The dessert menu boasts traditional favourites like sticky toffee pudding and peach Melba.

Filled with creative charm, The Emporium in Lancashire is just 6 minutes' walk from Clitheroe Rail Station.

Pizzas very good. Sword fish very generous portion, also good. Reasonably priced wine by the glass. Service reasonable, but no sense of connection with your waiter/waitress as rather random, different ones each time they came to table. Also, no one available to take us to our table on arrival so had to find our own way even though booked on line. Atmosphere/ambiance pleasant.

Excellent as always on a busy Friday ( 23.3 ) and the Manager communicated well to make diners aware of a slight delay due to volume of orders. Best place in Citheroe !!

Love the Emporium, particularly for there breakfast menu. I had eggs benedict and it was fabulous as always. My wife had eggs royale with smoked salmon which she thoroughly enjoyed. The only negative aspect was that the service was slow and it isn't normally like that.

Delicous food and excellant service as always.Best dish is the steak pizza which sounds rather odd, but trust me it's worth every mouth full! The staff suggested the children's "meal deal" which we hadn't noticed and was even better value.
