With a whimsical blend of rustic rural and Renaissance styles, The Eltisley is a beautiful restaurant, bar and garden. Inventive international recipes are served alongside cocktails from the bar, with al fresco seating being the perfect tranquil hangout for leisurely meals.
The Eltisley menu is a mouthwatering showcase of classic British dishes combined with eclectic international flavours. To start, there are light nibbles like smoked mackerel pâté with spiced crème fraîche, moving on to signature mains like the impressive hanging kebabs which come with options like bavette steak, or grilled and roasted vegetables with halloumi. Other indulgent recipes include sticky beef rib, or whole lobster with rich garlic butter sauce.
Desserts from the trolley at The Eltisley in St Neots are a real treat, with toasted marshmallow and fruit s'mores with chocolate sauce being a real crowd pleaser. From the bar, there are a range of beers, ales and stouts, as well as signature cocktails and a selection of fine wines.
With its stunning murals, exposed wooden beams and twinkling chandeliers, The Eltisley is a truly special venue to dine. St Neots Rail Station is a 10-minute drive away.

I would like to see prices of everything on the menu before I ordered For what we all got on the plate we thought it expensive My wife asked for a salad with her steak and didn’t get it What she got we wouldn’t call a salad Don’t like being asked to pay a gratuity payment when paying the bill If I get good table service I like to give it the the person serving me and not put it in your account

My friends and I were the only diners the evening that we went, hence no atmosphere. Staff excellent - very helpful. Food rather overpriced for very small portions and the dessert, thick rubbery pancakes, were served on cold plates. Hugely unappetising, but eaten as diners were hungry following very small mains. I ordered the veggie burger and received everything but the burger.......! Mentioned this to the staff, but it was not forthcoming. Overall, very disappointing as I have eaten at the Eltisley previously and the food was excellent.

We travel from Letchworth to dine here, worth it for the delicious food and we can also bring our dog into the bar area. On this occasion we enjoyed cured salmon, fish & chips, sea trout & rhubarb souffle.

Lovely soup starter and great sausages and mash. My wife didn’t eat all of her pie as some of the pastry wasn’t quite cooked, when she mentioned it to the manager both he and the chef agreed and offered complimentary dessert as an apology. No gripes there - as a business owner and consumer I completely get how mistakes can happen, it’s not about whether you make mistakes but about how you deal with them afterwards. Not our first meal here since they took on the new chef and won’t be our last.

My wife and I were given a voucher to put towards a meal here and we were absolutely delighted! A charming pub / restaurant, we were seated in a cosy corner which felt very private. The menu had a wide selection of options and the gluten-free choices were good and varied. My wife went for tiger prawns to start and the roast beef for main, I had the surf and turf starter and the venison for main. Melt in the mouth is the best way to describe both of my dishes. Neither of us could fault any of our food, drinks or service.
