Love the booths, which I always ask to sit in. Staff polite and friendly. Love their half price steak night, great value, although 2 of our 4 orders for steak were overlooked, we didn't complain because they said they were quite tasty!

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Food mostly very good, generous portions. Sunday roast very good value with free starter or dessert on offer at the momeNT. "Slow-roasted " belly pork did not exactly fall apart as it should, but it was a nice piece of meat. Only one grumble, we were not told that certain items had run out when we were given the menus - we chose a dessert that was sold out..

Eat here as staying in their adjoining accommodation. Booked a table for 8pm on arriving at the hotel in the morning checked that they had the reservation for 3 adults and a child for the evening which they confirmed. Arrived in the evening for drinks beforehand and again checked in reservation. It wasn't until after being seated at 8pm ordering starters and main course and half way through eating starter we were told as we had an under 18 year old with us we needed to be out the restaurant by 9pm. This was now 8.30pm so still had mains to eat and possibly a dessert. We insisted in staying until are meal was finished as we were not aware of this policy when booking. This was after a lot of arguing with the so called managers and resulting in my daughter in tears. Overall food was good but this was ruined by the poor attitude of the management and their running of the restaurant. Waitress remained pleasant throughout as she was clearly only doing as she was told. Wouldn't recommend this hotel/restaurant if you have children with you.
