Loved the dry ice..never seen it before and we thought wow! There is no favourite food as we loved them all.

Another fab afternoon at the Edgbaston. Would like more savoury and less sweet but good to take goodie bag home. Thanks for lovely time.

I booked the champagne afternoon tea which was amazing! What is nice about this menu selection. I loved the fresh cooked brioche buns with the chicken tikka or veggie option with spicy peppers. The champagne ??, the lollipop stick and freshly cooked scones were delicious ??. The service as always at this venue was attentive and warm.

Will definitely be booking again ...

The theatre behind the amuse bouché was nice, however we all left feeling hungry. A finger sandwich, a tiny roll and a bit sized appetiser is simply not value for money at £26.50 per person. There were two vegetarians in our party, however for the chefs to put the meat sandwiches & vegetarian options on the same plate should not be standard practice. The fruit scones were extremely flat and had not risen. There are places that charge a fraction of the cost however offer more value for money.

I would certainly not recommend this venue or the afternoon tea.

I visited the Edgbaston Boutique hotel for afternoon tea on Saturday. This was my third visit and I was quite disappointed, the staff looked vacant and miserable and mumbled the menu to us, previously the staff have been pleasant and attentive. The food was also not as nice as previous visits. I also think your cocktails are way over priced, £12.50 for a gin cocktail seems excessive and more than other bars in Birmingham. I absolutely loved my first two visits but after Saturday I probably won’t be returning.

The Afternoon tea was excellent the food was lovely and the whole presentation was really pretty.

Lorenzo was our waiter and he went above and beyond. Lorenzo was a lovely man and greeted us with a smile soon as we were shown to our table.

I will be definitely be making another booking soon.

Food glorious as always. Scones were smaller this time. Had to keep asking for refills on coffee. Would have been better with a pot. Came in from the rain and was moved to the library. Then from the library downstairs which was empty?! Shame as we felt we were being moved around. But overall a lovely day.

Interesting and tasteful interior design, especially for those - like me - who love Art Deco. Excellent, genuinely friendly service. Offering a very individual experience and good points of difference. Will be back to try the cocktails, which looked very good.
