Restaurant description
Located in Dunchurch, a village recognised for its rustic beauty as a conservation area, The Dun Cow serves traditional British pub food in an eye-catching old building named after a local legend. It features a pretty al fresco beer garden to enjoy the unique village, and a welcoming hearth for winter.
Hearty Sunday roasts and trusty British dishes head The Dun Cow menu, and a range just for kids offers mini versions of pub favourites. Signature Vintage pies offer fillings like beef & merlot with buttered peas, while The Dun Cow ‘Vintage classics’ menu includes lemon & garlic-roasted chicken with seasoned chips.
Paying homage to the Great British pub, the Vintage Inn bar stock includes cask-conditioned beers, real ales and a meticulously compiled wine list. Thirst-quenching offerings include seasonal non-alcoholic cocktails and freshly-pressed juices, and rich coffee is brewed freshly throughout the day.
In Dunchurch, The Dun Cow is only 6 minutes’ drive from Rugby.

Myself and husband are here for our valentines 3 course meal on 14th Feb, waitresses were great, popping around to us every now and then and spot on with meals on our table, no long waiting times between courses, 1st course mushrooms were a little too salty for me, main was nice but bacon was too fatty and would have been better with medallion of bacon not streaky, pudding was very rich, chocolate brownie, nice meal despite the critique but could have been better, we were seated in the family dining area, Would have been more intimate if we were not surrounded with children, overall though nice.

Enough places in car park, good welcome when we arrived, very helpful waitress, patient with an elderly lady, good food well presented and in reasonable time, drinks fine, no hurry to finish, no fuss payment. An enjoyable lunch time venue.
