Located in Dunchurch, a village recognised for its rustic beauty as a conservation area, The Dun Cow serves traditional British pub food in an eye-catching old building named after a local legend. It features a pretty al fresco beer garden to enjoy the unique village, and a welcoming hearth for winter.

Hearty Sunday roasts and trusty British dishes head The Dun Cow menu, and a range just for kids offers mini versions of pub favourites. Signature Vintage pies offer fillings like beef & merlot with buttered peas, while The Dun Cow ‘Vintage classics’ menu includes lemon & garlic-roasted chicken with seasoned chips.

Paying homage to the Great British pub, the Vintage Inn bar stock includes cask-conditioned beers, real ales and a meticulously compiled wine list. Thirst-quenching offerings include seasonal non-alcoholic cocktails and freshly-pressed juices, and rich coffee is brewed freshly throughout the day.

In Dunchurch, The Dun Cow is only 6 minutes’ drive from Rugby.

Good site for bookjng. clear and easy. Sunday roast was very nice as well.as the children's menu, which offered a good chlice.

All the food was amazing. we wanted to add an extra person and called and the restaurant and they offered to add a chair and place setting for us in spite of being the last Saturday before Christmas. gluten free catered for..... meals wonderful. meat and all vegetables. the starters had loads of flavour were a good size without being overwhelming. we were a little late due to traffic and there was no fuss made. Fire going made us immediately feel warm.
All staff were excellent and an excellent place to meet up with family before Christmas. I particularly loved the mushroom in a garlic and cheese sauce with chrushed chestnut topping...wow!

was a little put out as table was out back area where there alot of babies and young children who were VERY noisey. Felt we had been 'squashed' in. would have liked a quieter area as unable at times to chat to friend or hear answer. One baby next to me was screaming a lot.On the plus side had the trio meat, Sunday roast, and the meal was absolutely lovely, and would come again if only for that. Staff were attentive, and left a tip.

It was very enjoyable . We were served by a very good waitress, and the meal was very good. There have been some inconsistencies in the quality of the meals in the past. Yesterday however was excellent. Long may it continue.

We visited as a party of 4 for Sunday lunch yesterday. It was all ok, nothing special really though. The sharing bread lacked imagination and no butter provided. We had the trio of meats and it was a bit grisly, rest of food was lovely though. The waiter was really nice and we had a table in main restaurant area which i had requested on website. Wine was ice cold with ice bucket and we thoroughly enjoyed that. Unfortunately, one of my friends had a bit of a funny turn as we were leaving and had a faint by the bar area. Your staff were brilliant, they fetched some cold compresses to cool her down and sat her on a chair until she felt better and we were able to leave. Please thank them for their prompt help. It was most appreciated.

Have been dine in Dun Cow twice, the first time I had a vegetarian tart it was fine. But this time was a bit disappointed to the food, I had a steak and mushroom pie, the pastry was puff, but it wasn't enough gravy inside, also, it wasn't enough vegetable to go with my dish. My husband had a chicken and mushroom pizza, it comes like a light flat bread, it only comes with chips and no salad at all! They gave us a table in the quiet corner which we are happy with, however the waitress didn't look happy.

Food was delicious & well presented, although a couple of my party had said the food wasn't that hot & it didn't all come out together. Had to wait 3-4 mins for the 2nd lot of good to arrive.
