This trendy hideaway features a striking, geometric-stained glass frontage, and a unique digital jukebox that allows diners to pick their own playlist.
Bursting with Chinese favourites, The Duck and Rice menu spans from sharing-style dim sum plates, to time-honoured rice and noodle dishes. Specials change monthly, while championed signature dishes include jasmine-smoked pork ribs, curried crab, and Cantonese lobster. Desserts at Duck and Rice in Soho include peanut butter ice cream, or decadent chocolate pudding.
An impressive bar stock pays tribute to the West End’s neighbouring pubs, with cask ales, local beers, and Pilsner served from a shimmering copper tank on offer. Along with a selective world wine list, artisan gin & tonics and unique ‘beer cocktail’ concoctions are mixed at the bar.

Food was exquisite. Found the dim sum portions extremely small. We have had dim sums all over the world and you would usually get 4 morsels per serving instead of 3!

The food was phenomenal and they strike the balance of fun Chinese, with vibey night spot. The feel & atmosphere is great and the food was brilliant.

Can’t complain about the food, it was perfect however our empty glasses got taken away after we finished our mains without offering us a second drink and then we were waiting 40 minutes to get another drink that we just ended up asking for the bill.

Had a really nice meal. The food was tasty and the service was great. We used the eat out to help out offer which made the meal more affordable. I felt some dishes were overpriced for what you get but the food was good.

Brilliant, loved the house duck and venison puffs. G&Ts were also excellent.

Food is amazing. Front of house also very good. Service was a bit slow though and we sat next to the exit door which the staff kept leaving open for ease of serving others outside. We asked to close it but we kept having to do it ourselves.

We went on a Thursday night, sitting upstairs. The starters (dim sum) came within 15 minutes but it was obvious that the restaurant was understaffed. We were waiting for over an hour for the mains arrive after we had finished the starters and by the time the food had arrived it was cold and they were missing some of the orders. This meant the food was sitting in the kitchen until it got cold, which is a shame as it was very tasty food. The waitress made sure that the dishes were cooked again (which delayed our dining experience by another 20+ minutes) but offered us free drinks and a 20% discount on the total bill which was appreciated. While the food was delicious, the floor was clearly understaffed and I could see a large number of frustrated diners that night.

This is the best roast duck restaurant in London, whether it is the Cantonese roast duck or the aromatic duck..... Their tofu dishes are excellent as well. I love the Japanese aubergine tofu and also the tofu with crab meat. Service is always tiptop and price is incredibly reasonable for this sort of quality and wonderful cooking!

The most amazing restaurant. I definitely recommend it and some of the best duck in London. Each dish is exciting and vibrant and very tasty. I keep coming back here.
