With a menu bursting with gourmet international recipes, The Drummond is a great example of the quintessential London gastropub. There are cherry-picked craft ales on tap, Sunday roasts, as well as a small al fresco seating area for the warmer months.
The Drummond menu features a great selection of pub classics and seasonal recipes. There are crowd pleasing bar snacks like homemade scotch eggs with HP sauce, and hearty man meals including pork, leek and Welsh rarebit sausages with spring onion mash and red wine jus. A selection of burgers features British beef patties paired with USDA oak-smoked brisket, and the vegetarian quinoa and mushroom burger with smoked tomato hummus. There are sandwiches like the fish finger bap, and the Sunday roasts are a huge draw.
Desserts at The Drummond Guildford feature treats like carrot cake and orange cheesecake with Devon toffee sauce, and a packed British cheeseboard. There is a full wine list, classic cocktails, and a range of carefully selected craft beers from around the world.
Mixing pub tradition with gourmet tweaks and international drinks, The Drummond is 11 minutes' walk from Guildford Rail Station.

Great atmosphere, great service and really great food and value!

The food was excellent but for elderly folk too much to manage. A place for younger people with larger appetites!

We love the Drummond usually but last night it was too busy, too noisy, service slow. We won’t go back on saturday nights maybe in the summer when we can go outside. The good was good as usual.

Food was very good but staff seemed unaware of their selection/availability of wines. Table service wasn't particularly fast and staff didn't clear the table between courses.

Food was decent enough for a pub style venue. Even though it wasn't busy, the service was very average (i.e. poor); rushed to start with, slow afterwards, no-one asked how we were, had to get own drinks, 30 mins to get plates cleared and no mention of specials etc. Not a great Mother's Day experience!

Usually a favourite with us, but not last night (admittedly Christmas eve). We booked a table for 8.00, arrived promptly, sat down. When we went to order at 8.35 we found they'd closed the kitchen at half past without telling us. The kitchen staff did kindly agree to heat up the grill for us and put on a few burgers, which was very nice, although we weren't given any choice.

Slight issue with the booking via bookatable but they were very accommodating and apologetic. Went out of their way to make us feel welcome and have a good time whilst we were there. Very good food and drink at reasonable pricing. Would recommend.
