Restaurant description

At the base of Salesforce Tower on Bishopsgate, The Drift is a spectacular venue from Drake and Morgan: the team behind The Folly, The Anthologist, The Parlour and The Refinery. A huge, modern space houses an emporium of quirky tidbits, a mixology table and a contemporary kitchen.

A kaleidoscopic menu at The Drift ranges from British classic beer-battered fish and chips, to prawn lollipops and a wagyu burger with blue cheese. Succulent steaks are served with chips, watercress and a choice of sauce, while a breakfast and brunch menu offers a variety of options from around the world.

A 30-page drinks list at The Drift in London provides a spectrum of offerings, from fairy-tale inspired cocktails to hearty draught beers, while a salted caramel milkshake is made with bulleit bourbon and chocolate bitters. All drinks are muddled by The Drift’s expert bar staff, from whom mixology and flambé classes are available.

The Drift is a 3-minute walk from Liverpool Street Station, at 110 Bishopsgate.

Service was super slow and bad. We waited 1 hour for a salad (the quinoa bowl)!! Being located in The City they should be aware that people go during lunchtime and probably need to rush back to the office asap. Salad was good but won’t go back as won’t risk wasting an hour (since we order until food arrived) again.

Service was fine, but we both had the crispy duck salad which sounded nice on the menu, but wasn't. So much sauce all over it and salad was mostly onions, not very pleasant at all. My friend had very little duck too.

Awesome food at very reasonable prices for the location. Great start for food before heading up in the lift for drinks!

Great atmosphere and excellent service! The staff are warm and very efficient. There was an error with my booking (it didn't go through online, despite confirmation) however staff were fantastic and still arranged a table immediately, despite it being very busy.

Great for a bar atmosphere with good food, the drinks are quite pricey.
