I took my friend for a birthday afternoon tea and we had the science tea-pot tails + champagne, and as I'd made a booking note about her birthday they added a little treat at the end too.The Drawing Rooms are stylishly decorated, food and drinks are presented in beautiful and quirky ways as you would expect from the 'science' theme, and everything was delicious, and top ups of savouries ndwiches. Staff were polite and attentive too, the whole experience was wonderful.

Wonderful afternoon tea with great attention to detail. All the food was delicious but it stands out because the science theme was executed perfectly. Plus the Drawing Rooms handle dietary requirements so well. I have a nut allergy and so many teas substitute cakes for fruit which is not acceptable in my opinion. They were excellent and there was only one substitution where they provided a similar nut free alternative. Great service, highly recommended!

We had a brilliant science afternoon tea and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! There were delicious savoury items, fab scones and an amazing top tier of sweet confections to die for. It really did have a 'scientific' theme that was great fun and we would definitely go again! Lovely serving staff who were attentive, but not intrusive, plus unending top-ups of tea just added to our enjoyment!

Excellent service, seated promptly even though we were early. The hotel was stunning as was the drawing room . We had the vegan afternoon tea . What was particularly great was that we didn't feel like the odd ones out as it looked the same as the one vegan one. The food was first class . Overall the whole experience was amazing and would highly recommend.

Lovely quirky afternoon tea; we enjoyed making our own lemonade, and the dry ice. Excellent food and nice setting let down by very poor service - slow, inaccurate, inattentive. Perhaps we were unlucky with our server; we had very long gaps where we were ignored and parts of our orders turned up wrong.
