Lovely room though noisy with young children who were actually in an adjoining room on a previous visit. Pleasant ambiance and decor. Savouries different and enjoyable, scones hard, champagne lovely.

Went for the 'Science afternoon tea' with a party of 4 and it was great! I opted for the vegan version and it was fantastic, chocolate was really creamy, cakes were lovely light and fluffy, and the sandwich selection was great. The vegetarian and meat options also looked very good. Once all our sandwiches had been scoffed we were offered another round, this always makes me happy during afternoon tea as usually there is not enough savoury to balance out the sweet. We were a little late being seated so the manager gave us each a glass of complimentary champagne which was very welcome. Overall the food was very tasty, the Science element was very cool - we got to make our own lemonade, go on an archaeological dig for some chocolate dinosaurs, and eat some lovely looking planets and space men. The Drawing Rooms are lovely, a very nice setting to catch up with friends for the afternoon. We came down on the train from Liverpool for the day and it was handily located just 15 mins on the tube from Euston.

We had a mix of science afternoon teas and cocktails.
Really nice relaxed vibe. Great staff and service. Nice long friendly chat with the Manager
We weren’t at all rushed.
They were very accommodating of our child’s intolerances and fussinesses.

Everything tasted amazing. The staff was friendly. The only thing that wasn't great, was that I was given a dirty spoon, but the staff immediately changed it for a clean one, when I asked them.

I loved the warm welcome and the fun and cozy atmosphere at the Little blue door. However, even though we had made a reservation for the Sunday roast, it took an hour for the food to arrive. This was a little problematic since we had made plans and had to rush out since we thought we would be done sooner. Also, even though the plates were hot it wasn't quite enough to keep the food warm and it got cold very fast on the serving tray. The food tasted nice and the flavours were simple and home-like, but the roast was a bit chewy and the roast potatoes were roasted to be very hard. Still, I really liked the atmosphere of the restaurant, but there were these few things I would pay attention to before I can really recommend the experience to someone else.

We came for a champagne afternoon tea to celebrate my parents wedding anniversary. The tea was lovely - the beef sandwiches were everyone's favourite (although I really liked the little tart too). The scones were delicious and the lemon curd was excellent. We all enjoyed the little cakes, but the petri-dish jelly was actually pretty disgusting. The science themed little touches like the dry ice, freeze dried toppings and lemonade experiments were fun and everyone enjoyed them. Staff were really friendly and the celebration plate with petit fours were a really nice touch. Thank you very much for a lovely afternoon.
