The desert, scones and tea were perfect but the sandwiches were just fine! Although the tea-tox set was more delicious than the classic one.

Loved the coronation chicken. Wait service was superb. Let him select our choices for tea. We started with their classic afternoon black tea, then a white tea, and finished off with the lemongrass and ginger tea. Great tour of flavors.

Excellent expierence.Oldies buy goodies. The Brown's hotel claimed to be the first hotel in London, it has more than 180 years old. Many political leaders ,rich and famous people from all over the world stayed in this hotel before. The hotel itself is s great story. Sitting in the English tea room of the Brown's hotel, you immedially are making your own story.

This is a jewel of a hotel, and, still rare these days, privately owned. Warmly welcomed and seated in the lovely tea room, the staff there could not have been more solicitous. Huge selection of teas plus champagne if required. Only reservation was the sandwich fillings, savoury open buns and pastries which were less traditional and more European. The scones were delicious, as were the cream and jam. Warmly recommended unless, like me, you are of a certain age and expectation of very traditional cream tea.
