It was my second time for the high tea and it was a surprise for my husband. We had a table in the big salon, a table for 2 on the right side. I was so excited to let my husband discover such incredible place that is F&F... But I had such a deception...understand me well, the tea, sandwiches, cakes were very good but the service..,,,bad... The waiter wasn’t nice, no smile, no offer to have additional food or tea, I had to ask each time ... for the second teapot we waited more than 15 mm .. All the other waiters were nice to people but not him. He didn’t offer us to take away our remaining scones or cakes , I had to ask. He didn’t allow us to take the opened jam can : when I told him I was able to take them last year, he said it was the new rule of F&M. we left F&M with a sad feeling : such a beautiful place to celebrate and such a deceptive service .,,, But I will come back ...and choose my waiter next time. Thank you for reading my comments. Regards Hacina Gablin

A highlight to add to your visit to London is the high tea at Fortnum & Mason Jubilee Tea Room. Just a bit ‘posh’ from the excellent pianist on the grand piano in the foyer to the most attentive wait staff who make you feel special. Then there is the food- clotted not whipped cream to use on the light and tasty scones and some of the most delightful pastries. To round off your tea is a selection from the cake trolley ( choose the Victoria sponge it is magnificent!). So much food that we like others had to get a box to take hone the extras which meant we could continue the experience.

Nice afternoon tea. Delicious sandwiches, cakes and scones. Tea was good as well. But it seems that not enough staff for services. We have to ask for a few times in order to refill hot water, and we have to wait for a long long time in order to find a waiter to come to our table.
