My daughter and I had high tea at the Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon in Fortnum and Mason on our recent trip to London. It was one of the highlights of our trip. The atmosphere was fantastic. Beautiful décor and very excellent wait staff. The food was excellent. Our favorite was the finger sandwiches and the scones with cream, strawberry preserves and lemon curd. It was just fabulous. I highly recommend it.

Charlotte is a fabulous waitress! Have been here before and will definately be here again. If you want to experience tea in London, this is the place!!!

More attention could have been given to the manner in which the tea was poured, e.g there was a wet ring left on the table cloth from the base of the teapot. More care could have been taken before placing the stands on the table so as to avoid hitting and displacing elements of the table setting.

I have visited this salon four times. It is a large setting, but quite elegant without feeling stuffy. It is frequented by tourists so has a more casual atmosphere, but the surroundings and place settings are lovely. I find the service exceptionally accommodating and friendly. The food is good--not amazing--but I am a scone snob, and I would put theirs in the "above average" category.

Excellent in almost every way. The only disappointment was the 15 minute delay in showing us to our table.
