Great food, and really good theming. Reasonably priced especially with 20% discount with the merlin pass.

The Crooked Spoon is a quirky little restaurant set in the heart of the Enchanted Village within the grounds of the Alton Towers Resort. Offering a family friendly-setting for breakfast, lunch and dinner, there is a great selection of family favourites and unusual offerings on the menu, while the high ceilings and wooden beams give the restaurant a delightful rural feel.
The Crooked Spoon menu spans the entire day, starting off with buffet of full English breakfasts with all the usual trimmings. The main menu features a range of British favourites with quirky Crooked Spoon twists. Start with a potted prawn cocktail or BBQ chicken skewers for starters, before sampling the battered fish and chips or a tasty choice from the Crooked Spoon grill. There is also a variety of vegetarian dishes, from a roasted summer vegetable carbonara to a slow-roasted beetroot, mixed pepper & sun-dried tomato salad.
Desserts are just as show-stopping as the main menu. Treat yourself to a Village Sundae, or be wowed by the beautiful rainbow orange meringue pie – a true family favourite.
A family-friendly restaurant with a welcoming ambience throughout the day, The Crooked Spoon is a 30-minute drive from Stoke-on-Trent.

Very impressed with the quality of the food, especially given the numbers they are catering for. They managed to produce a menu that suits all ages and both interesting and tasty.

Staff were so friendly, couldn’t fault the food. We had a vegetarian and a gluten free with us. Catering for us all

Breakfast buffet was really good, something for everyone, nice and consistent - very happy. Only had one evening meal here, portions were very generous, service excellent.

Food was awful. Waiters hard work and argumentative. Would not recommend

I have to say the food served at the crooked spoon last weekend was really disappointing! The burger in particular was very cheap, full of gristle and quite honestly inedible! The side vegetables were old and looked almost desiccated! Unfortunately not a pleasant experience, we did mention to the waitress, who was very nice, but nothing came of this!

The food was not great for the price. £15.99 for a small chicken tikka!
The child’s pasta had two tiny pieces of frozen broccoli and zero taste!
I asked for my burger without bacon but with onion instead. I was then told “we don’t have onion”. Asked for an onion ring instead and was told ok. Then charged for them on the bill!
Would not go back!

Nice staff and service but quality of food very poor considering the cost. Isn’t value for money.
