Set in a historic building dating back over three centuries, The Cricketers in Sarratt is a traditional pub and restaurant from award-winning pub group Brunning & Price. Freshly-cooked British pub food is served alongside cask ales, world wines and malt whiskies.

Tasty culinary offerings from this Sarratt pub include a Greek mezze plate, Cajun sirloin steak salad and slow-roasted lamb shank with mustard mash. French Provençal-style bouillabaisse keeps company with pub favourites like ale-battered haddock and chips, while sandwiches and light bites range from an aromatic hoisin duck wrap to the freshly prepared vegetarian calzone.

Little diner portions are available at The Cricketers pub, which was built in the 18th century. Various extensions through the years have lent The Cricketers its entirely unique character, which can be admired from its tranquil lattice-covered patio area.

Overlooking the green in the heart of idyllic Sarratt Village, The Cricketers pub and restaurant is easily accessible from the M25.

Excellent food, service and pub full of character. Have visited several times and have always enjoyed the experience.

    Very pleasant surroundings and staff.
Food was fine but 2 course lunch with coffee took over 2 hours.

I have happily visited The Cricketers on a number of occasions but this visit proved to be a great disappointment. The staff, when they appeared, were friendly and courteous but the service was very poor. Our party arrived at 12.20 p.m and our order was taken promptly. The first course was served at 1.05 p.m. and at 1.50 we had to enquire when the second course would arrive. We passed on the dessert and finally left the restaurant at about 2.30 p.m. To make matters worse, the party at the table next to us who had arrived some 15 mins. after us had been served, had their meal and left whilst were were still waiting for our second course. All in all a very disappointing experience and on this showing I couldn't recommend the restaurant to a friend.

Always good except the last visit and the one before (both this week) were disappointing. Both the beef and pork salads were very meagre and therefore very expensive

Lovely atmosphere, very busy for a Tuesday lunch time which is always a good sign. Staff very friendly and accommodating.
