Reasonable value for money especially with the 20 % reduction although I had to remind them that I had booked with that arrangement when I paid My friend, when asked, advised them that her 'hot ' sandwich was actually cold. They just replied ' sorry about that ' which often seems to be the case these days

The waitress was very friendly and promply took our order. There was not much option for my daughter who is vegetarian and does not like cheese as both veg meals were based on cheese. I had the roast . The meat was cooked perfectly but some of the veg were raw. I was not offered any condiment with the meal. Desserts were delicious as was the coffee. I do however feel that there is either a change in management or definitely a change with the chef or cooks in the kitchen as we have been several times before and the meal was much better

One of party had not visited the establishment before. On arrival the staff were attentive and took us straight to our table. Our drinks ordered, we perused the extensive menu. There was certainly plenty of choice. One of the meals ordered was camembert and bacon melt sandwich with side salad and chips. However the the salad was in the sandwich with the hot cheese. The staff were very helpful and arranged for a replacement. All meals were delicious, tasty and filling. The staff were presentable, pleasant and helpful. The restaurant was clean, warm and cosy with plenty of small areas where you could dine without disturbance from other diners. We would certainly return.

Food very enjoyable. Only problem was that the menu seemed slightly complicated. It offered fixed prices for two or three courses which was very good value. But, we were sitting in an area with low level lighting and it was difficult to identify the tiny symbols that indicated which items on the menu were part of the offer.

I had a roast beef lunch and was disappointed that the beef was rather tough. My son had the roast platter which he enjoyed

We have visited here before but on this occasion, in terms of ambience and value, it did not meet expectations. We were given a table amongst 2 rather large families with equally loud children. The rest of the restaurant was not full so why they cannot consider the needs of their customers, is beyond me. The food in terms of quality and value for money was ok but there are better restaurants out there.
