Such an amazing experience for my birthday I even received a complimentary cocktail ! Staff were friendly and efficient. The food was tasty, however, I feel that asking £7.50 for 2 two small lamb pieces and a tiny piece of stuffing a little overpriced, a side dish was charged extra !
Maybe these prices are normal for Exeter.

Service was very good, we had a magician the day we went he was amazing! Drinks looked really good all funky colours in different shape glasses /pots/jugs. Food was delicious came out quickly. Decor is fab! Staff friendly. Only one criticism is my daughters didn't like their milkshakes(bit watery) but they loved my mocktail! Would definitely recommend this place and can imagine in the evening it's great aswell.

Dismal. Cheap, tatty décor, very limited menu and poor, amateurish service.

We had a lovely time for my son's birthday. Kids really liked the mocktails!

Service was fine, restaurant not too bad (definitely not decorated by Disney) but food was mediocre at best. Not expensive but not good value. My burger included just the burger-no salad or chips- for £9 and was just ok. My son’s pizza looked like one from a supermarket but, with toppings, cost over £10. The wedges weren’t enough for 1 person and at over £3 were not worth it. The drinks were ok. However, my children liked the atmosphere and the riddles on the app so they had a good time.

Restaurant is nice and quirky, staff are very friendly and helpful, we had the best garlic bread ever but the mains let the meal down - we all ordered mac cheese which comes in a couldron of bread - it was very bland and dry with not even a garnish I think a side dish could have been recommended. The drinks are really cool with a good selection! The sticky toffee pudding was to die for so all in all a good experience and well worth a visit. Keep the kids amused with the app too

Well after travelling for an hour and a half in the xmas holidays to get to The cauldron inn, we were left disappointed.
We had 2 excited children with us looking forward to a new dining experience over xmas as a treat .
We waited 40 minutes to get a drink , the food was ok , basic i would describe it and half of it cold .
The venue looks a bit tired and cheaply decorated , i can see what they are trying to do but needs a bit more polishing .
The staff are young and friendly but seem inexperienced and disorganized.
I really hate leaving a poor reveiw but we came away feeling it was not worth the effort of visiting .
I felt sorry for my children waiting all that time for food and drinks and it not living up to a good standard .
But as a fairly new buisness and the fact it was xmas time i can see there could have been things beyond their control that day . Overall it was poor but i would give it another chance if i was in the area again to be fair to them .

Great atmosphere, basic but very tasty food. Brilliant service from very friendly waiter. I think his name was Lindon. My grandchild badgered him all the time and he never lost patience with her (no mean feat)
