As it was a special occasion almost everything was perfect.The exception being the coffee.It needed to be hotter and the expresso needed to be served in an expresso cup not a large coffe cup.

A la carte menù, very expensive, but exquisite food nevertheless. Starters included deep fried pig cheek with rhubarb and coriander, which was interesting and a tasty combination! Mains we chose fish - absolutely delicious Stone Bass, beautifully presented and wonderful flavour. Side dishes were extra, at £4 per dish. Pudding was signature apple tart tatin with cinnamon ice cream. Had to order this in advance, and as a sharing plate, for £24. Generous portion size for a dessert! Wine list extensive but very dear. Our meal was well into 3 figures, but well worth the money, for a special occasion.
