We found the experience very good. Food and service excellent. Only drawback was they allowed tourists with there sandwiches etc to sit at tables adjacent to ours. They should have a divider to stop tourists from overflowing into the afternoon tea area.

The afternoon tea was a perfect end to our short stay in Edinburgh. We made a specific request beforehand and this was adhered to making it a very pleasant and relaxing experience. The food was beautifully presented and very fresh. We were looked after by Leva who was the perfect hostess very friendly and attentive - nothing was too much trouble. Laura too needs special mention who we believe was responsible for our special request - the food was delicious.

The place looked super nice and we just loved how they arrenged already everything at our table with fancy plates and flowers, which we booked for teatime. We could choose our tes by smelling different ones and every step was explained to us: how long the tea should stand, what we have on our tray and what we should eat first. We felt really special and maybe a bit royal as well. We skipped lunch for teatime, which was a good choice because there was a lot of food. We really loved the sandwiches and scones, the cakes have been a Little to sweet for us but as we are Germans we in General don't like to eat too sweet. Overall it was a great experience worth every Pound, which we would recommend to everyone visting Edinburgh.
