Restaurant description
Featuring old country charm, The Bull’s Head – Lichfield has a leafy setting, rustic furnishings and hearty British pub cuisine. Views of the pretty surrounding village of Shenstone can be enjoyed from the beer garden, or the hearth fire inspires a sense of cosiness inside.
Hearty Sunday roasts and trusty British dishes head The Bugle Horn menu, and a range just for kids offers mini versions of pub favourites. Signature Vintage pies offer fillings like beef & merlot with buttered peas, while The Bugle Horn ‘Vintage classics’ menu includes lemon & garlic-roasted chicken with seasoned chips.
Paying homage to the Great British pub, the Vintage Inn bar stock includes cask-conditioned beers, real ales and a meticulously compiled wine list. Thirst-quenching offerings include seasonal non-alcoholic cocktails and freshly-pressed juices, and rich coffee is brewed freshly throughout the day.
The Bull’s Head is just an 8-minute drive from Lichfield City Train Station.

Very friendly and warm welcome, waitress was very efficient.Just one problem with the peppercorn sauce, it was much to thin and tasteless I would say it had been watered down.

As always, Welcoming atmosphere, good food and pleasant friendly waitresses. Particularly like the oven baked mushrooms starter. I don't usually have a starter but can't resist these.

5 people dined. All starters and main courses were very good, but some puddings had been microwaved too much and were returned, but replaced satisfactory.

Service was poor, no knowledge of dishes and slow. Food was poor and badly presented not value for money. It was cold where we were sat and the furnishings are quite shabby. Booking via bookatable was simple to use and worked well.
