We were greeted quickly, the dining room look great and felt comfortable and relaxing. There was a good choice of food on the menu.
It arrived hot. The staff were quick removing dishes and looking after all our needs.

Lovely country pub beautifully decorated. Unfortunately my food did not live up to expectations although my husband enjoyed bis leek & chicken pie.
I ordered Pork belly with scallops & after just over half hour (bearing in mind we went early & at this stage there were not many patrons) the food appeared. No scallops on mine so I sent back asking also if the pork belly could be "crisped" up slightly. When my meal was returned 3 scallops looked as though they has been thrown onto the plate & all the butternut squash puree had been smeared round the plate - all presentation was gone ! Went downhill from here. Would not go back which is a shame as were were served by a lovely waitress & the surroundings were very pleasant. Thought it was over priced for food received.

Disappointed that no Pork left for Sunday Roast admittedly it was a 4.00pm booking but plenty of others came after us!!! Also starters not cleared prior to main course being brought out!

Lovely building, nice design to the restaurant and good atmosphere in the restaurant. Good table position, friendly, efficient waitress and very nice food. All food was well- presented, well-cooked and tasty. A lovely evening, thank you.
