Great food in a busy bar
11 June 2018
Set within the affluent knot of Kensington, The Builders Arms delivers a trusty menu of classic British dishes. A quirky, offbeat bar serves a host of fine wines, cherry-picked cask ales and house creations, while the heated, cosy pub garden lends itself to al fresco dining.
Juicy, hand-packed beef burgers lead The Builders Arms menu, sourced from the West Country and topped with crispy bacon, melting cheese or succulent pulled pork. Rosy-pink steak sandwiches, full English breakfasts and comforting Sunday roasts dominate the hearty offerings, while a dessert of lemon and lime crumble tart served with raspberry sorbet heads the menu’s cleansing creations.
Inside, contemporary design litters the restaurant, offset by a kaleidoscope of block colours. Tassled, vintage-inspired lamps suspend from the bohemian-style bar, while a vaulted skylight drowns the dining room in natural light.
A 6-minute walk from High Street Kensington Tube Station, The Builders Arms in London is a 5-minute walk to the beautiful Kensington Gardens.

Great pub in Kensington, a bit of atmosphere, good food and cosy, but can be a bit loud

Good service. Can recommend the Tuna dish & chicken Caesar salad from the lunchtime menu. Starters were also good.

The food and service were excellent. The ambiance was "screaming millennials" and we could hardly carry on a conversation.

Warm welcome, lovely local pub with some quirky decor and tasty food. Loved it. Only downside was having to ask for the service charge (14gbp for four of us!) to be removed from the bill.

Was looking for a local pub to grab a Sunday roast. This place didn't disappoint - excellent food, excellent location, excellent staff. Thanks!

Great food but if your eating its best to book a table. It got very busy at the bar but for all the right reasons!! Service was welcoming and quick, cant fault!
