Choose from brunch, a bar snack, a full dinner menu or perhaps something light
With its dramatic central glass dome and riverside setting, The Brasserie at Sir Christopher Wren offers a decidedly upmarket experience in the heart of Windsor. Enjoy modern British flavours with river views, on come for Sunday lunch along with live jazz music performances.
The Brasserie at Sir Christopher Wren menu spans the entire day, starting off with traditional brunch items such as eggs Benedict, and Scottish smoked salmon on toast. House specials showcase gourmet British creations, with highlights like the venison and truffle pie, or go for a selection of small plate sharers, with options including crispy duck pancakes and citrus-marinated mackerel fillet.
Sparkling cocktails are a popular favourite from the bar at The Brasserie at Sir Christopher Wren in Windsor, with a range of mocktails also available. For pudding, tuck into classic Eton mess, and gluten-free chocolate brownie.

Underwhelming first visit, not special in any way, sat at a peripheral table, restaurant being made up/rearranged for the evening service and definitely would not recommend it for anything special other than wandering in off the street. Staff polite enough but distracted/unsupported and it was evident that booking a table between lunch and dinner whilst possible, wasn’t well prepared for.

The food was fantastic, the servicer by Benedito was superb. The evening was spoiled however, such that we had to leave our table and move to the lounge, due to the screaming children from the table next to us who were racing back and forth amongst the tables, screaming so loudly that we couldn't hear ourselves speaking just inches away from each other!! We spoke to the Manager who also asked the other party to mind the children, as did other parties who complained, but the parents did nothing. It's a shame as we looked forward to this weekend all year. Perhaps consider an age limit after 7pm? We would like to book again for next year and bring our partners this time, but would need to be assured that this would not happen again.

There was a waiter, Roman who spoilt our experience by making us feel uncomfortable with our 5 year old children. He was rude and offensive and he ruined our JT e with you at a family time of year.

I am very disappointed with the service on the day, restaurant almost empty but we were not looked after. It was for my sister's birthday. She asked for a second Latte coffee and we waited 10 minutes before she received a lukewarm either it was an instant or filter coffee. We were not asked if we wanted anymore food as at most afternoon teas we have had. The view of the river was lovely from the table. My sister thought we should pay the service charge but I don't think it was justified.

I booked Sunday Lunch for two people. The food itself was very nice, although I was unaware that the Roast was a carvery/buffet station, assuming it would be table service being a hotel. I had the Goats Cheese Bruschetta to start, tasty but the goat's cheese was a little strong for my personal taste. The roast beef was delicious and very tender, the portion was generous and there were a good selection of potato options and vegetables (broccoli, carrots, roast parsnips and red cabbage). Yorkshire puddings were cold, unfortunately. What let it down was the fact that we had £50 dining credit to use and trying to apply this to our bill was a nightmare. We told the waiter before we were seated and he had no idea and said he would check with reception. When we asked for the bill we mentioned it again (a different waiter) and he was similarly clueless, after a bit of back and forth we were able to get it sorted but it did put a slight dampner on the weekend for me, as I had booked the package (the credit was part of a hotel stay) as a surprise for my partner and I felt awkward having to continually query the credit and explain the package to staff - especially when I was told, at the time of booking, all the staff are very aware of this package and using it for Sunday lunch will not be a problem.

Took my boyfriend to the hotel and booked dinner there as a birthday surprise. We absolutely loved it, bar staff were so friendly and accommodating by making drinks that weren’t on the menu for us. The food was amazing, as were the desserts and thoughtful birthday treat we had sent to the table.
