The standards at this restaurant continue to climb.
The accommodation and service are very good.
The December Sunday lunch, although expensive, has a good choice of dishes and the starter, main and dessert were all excellent deserving recognition in the good food publications.

Food was ok, service was very good. Everything looked very tired and needs an overhaul

    It was delicious.

Unfortunately a little disappointing, upon arrival nobody to greet us, we actually managed to walk through to dining room before any member of staff arrived!
Then when our drinks order taken, I made comment to waiter why would 2 small glasses of Red wine be cheaper all be it by pence than the equivalent large glass? We didn’t get an answer!
The Cauliflower soup was exceptional and my partners starter of Salmon delicious.
Our main courses unfortunately were not as memorable, my Chicken Ceaser salad was only ok! and my partners goats cheese ravioli had maybe be left under the hot pass, as dry around edges.
We visited after attending a funeral before making our onward journey home, so we didn’t make a fuss, but with hindsight maybe we should as our friends had recommended you!

The cooking at Mallory Court Bistro is extremely professional. The value for money here is superb, expect to pay around £35 for three courses from the menu although the prixy fixy is about £22 for three courses for even better value for money.

Te Sunday lunch is good value. The choice is limited but the dishes are all attractive and, in the case of our choices, very tasty.
The one criticism is directed at the bread served at the beginning. The rolls were hard and unpalatable giving the impression of not being fresh.

Service was very attentive and food delicious. Two of us had fish & chips and two had Sunday roast beef. We all enjoyed what we chose.

Super sirloin steak (one of the best I've ever had).
