Although the booking was confirmed online no record of it at the Brandling. The food was lovely but last 2 visits we have been overcharged. Nearly 3.50 was charged for a pint of orange and soda the 1st time and this time we asked for sweet potato chips and paid additionally for them but they brought normal chips when bringing to the attention of a member of staff he said he would get fresh ones made but we had the rest of the parties food so declined but no effort as made to refund the additional money. Also a friend who was in the pub had ordered a glass of wine and was short changed of £20 so think they need to slow down a bit and pay attention. The manager however (baldy man with cute dog) is lovely

A little disappointed this time, no one could find me a children's menu and the burgers took a long time to arrive even though there were very few dining that I could see, it lacked the atmosphere and general buzz of last time but maybe we caught them on an off night- certainly felt like it! Still nothing to compare to their roast dinners in general though, but this time it was lamb and I'm not a fan!
