With beautiful views of the River Great Ouse & a large outdoor terrace, The Brampton Mill is a restored gastro pub offering a variety of hearty modern British dishes. With stone walls, fur-lined chairs & several fireplaces, the indoor bar & restaurant are a cosy setting to enjoy a traditional Sunday roast.
With chefs given the opportunity to train at cookery schools in Spain and Italy, The Brampton Mill menu features modern signature recipes made using the finest ingredients. As well as creative daily-changing specials, favourites include king prawn, crab and chorizo linguine, or spit-roasted chicken with lemon & garlic confit. A kids’ menu and Sunday roasts also feature, and desserts include rich vanilla and chocolate gelato with home-baked cookies.
The result of a treasured partnership with Rothschild wine merchants, the cellar showcases many fine wines, while token real ales and premium spirits are found at The Brampton bar. Nostalgic British nibbles and sharing platters bursting with international flavours offer more laidback dining.
The Brampton Mill is a 3-minute drive from Huntingdon Rail Station.

Very good ambience, food and service plus a lovely setting

Cold draughty table. Request to move somewhere warmer unfulfilled. Flowers on table dead and dying. No candle in holder. Waiting staff all friendly enough but too many different staff might have been why I was served the wrong soup for starter and wrong main course. No offer of complimentary drink or discounted bill. Drinks good, food OK and lots of choice on menu.

My party and I were pleased with the food - no criticisms I am aware of. The only point we all agreed with (I know this is a personal point of view) as due to lack of seating within bar area we stayed with the permission of the staff at our table and we all commented the chairs were uncomfortable to sit on for such a long period. But that would not put be off from booking a meal etc. at this location.

I enjoyed the main meal and dessert very much.
Personally I would have liked less chicken and had peas as standard in the dish.

The experience was a very good one with staff that looked after you well, in particular the guy we had waiting on us was very attentive and very personable , unfortunately didn't get his name ! Could do with complimentary bread and jugs of water on table though !
