With beautiful views of the River Great Ouse & a large outdoor terrace, The Brampton Mill is a restored gastro pub offering a variety of hearty modern British dishes. With stone walls, fur-lined chairs & several fireplaces, the indoor bar & restaurant are a cosy setting to enjoy a traditional Sunday roast.
With chefs given the opportunity to train at cookery schools in Spain and Italy, The Brampton Mill menu features modern signature recipes made using the finest ingredients. As well as creative daily-changing specials, favourites include king prawn, crab and chorizo linguine, or spit-roasted chicken with lemon & garlic confit. A kids’ menu and Sunday roasts also feature, and desserts include rich vanilla and chocolate gelato with home-baked cookies.
The result of a treasured partnership with Rothschild wine merchants, the cellar showcases many fine wines, while token real ales and premium spirits are found at The Brampton bar. Nostalgic British nibbles and sharing platters bursting with international flavours offer more laidback dining.
The Brampton Mill is a 3-minute drive from Huntingdon Rail Station.

We stood waiting for over 15 minutes for the table to be laid and because the person seating us could not be bothered to check, when we finally asked, I think it had been ready for ages. The menu has changed so hardly anything I liked. The double cooked chips were half cooked and inedible and I had already sent main back once. The fish was very nice but that's all I ate. Apart from one staff member who was lovely the rest acted like we were an inconvenience. We will not be returning.

Prompt service with a smile and sense of humour. Each time we go, we sit in a different section - it's like the Tardis! Lovely experience

Overall a very nice meal, food was very decent and service not bad. A shame some of the food was missing when the plates arrived and they got the wrong meal for me but A nice location and environment

Booked a table on line but forgot to say that one of our party was disabled and could not manage the stairs to the main resturant. The mill was busy but they still managed to clear and re-lay a table downstairs near the disabled loo for us. This really made for a super meal experience for us, the meal was excellent as was the service and although we lingered over our meal at no time did we feel at all rushed.
