Amazing food - risotto Milanese, pure heaven. Everything cooked to perfection. So sad they are closing :(

The Brackenbury is led by the former General Manager of the iconic River Café. With equally prestigious backgrounds, the kitchen team create a menu of French and Italian dishes using fine British produce.

The Brackenbury menu is led by bold Mediterranean flavours. Try risotto with braised pheasant, marsala and dried porcini, linguini with spiced mussel and tomato ragu, or roast partridge with braised savoy cabbage and celeriac purée. Desserts are just as rich, with the likes of Yorkshire ginger pudding with butterscotch sauce, and the ominously titled chocolate nemesis on offer.

Laid-back yet chic, comfy banquettes and simple décor give The Brackenbury Hammersmith a warm and welcoming feel. Outdoor seating offers al fresco dining on warmer days, with Meditteranean-style street-side dining.

A neighbourhood favourite, The Brackenbury London sits in a quiet pocket of West London. Hammersmith, Ravenscourt Park, and Goldhawk Road tube stations are all within a 10-minute walk.

Enjoyed all three courses, and particularly the array of starters. Mozzarella was very tasty. Good service.

Food was excellent and the service was equally great. The crab soup to start is delicious, I think everyone should try it! We all loved it and will be back very soon.

We love this local gem. Really good food with daily variation and recently the wine list has really become more exciting with good choices at all price points. It's worth travelling to as it's better than most of the other restaurants in Hammersmith and Shepherds Bush. Homemade pasta, wonderfully cooked fish and steaks (we had the Cote De Boeuf for 2) and the puds are always a delight as well.

Confit Jerusalem Artichokes and Bresaola perfect winter dish, such much flavour. Great restaurant for catching up with friends, you can hear each other speak! Something I struggle with in many restaurants. Attentive service service. Excellent value for money.

We had an excellent Sunday lunch at the Brackenbury. The table we chose was a little bit cold for the ladies though there was a radiator nearby but we had chosen to move from the table offered (as we thought that would be colder).
We much enjoyed the unusual aspects of the dishes and the variety on offer.
Not your standard neighbourhood restaurant atall.
