The Brackenbury is led by the former General Manager of the iconic River Café. With equally prestigious backgrounds, the kitchen team create a menu of French and Italian dishes using fine British produce.

The Brackenbury menu is led by bold Mediterranean flavours. Try risotto with braised pheasant, marsala and dried porcini, linguini with spiced mussel and tomato ragu, or roast partridge with braised savoy cabbage and celeriac purée. Desserts are just as rich, with the likes of Yorkshire ginger pudding with butterscotch sauce, and the ominously titled chocolate nemesis on offer.

Laid-back yet chic, comfy banquettes and simple décor give The Brackenbury Hammersmith a warm and welcoming feel. Outdoor seating offers al fresco dining on warmer days, with Meditteranean-style street-side dining.

A neighbourhood favourite, The Brackenbury London sits in a quiet pocket of West London. Hammersmith, Ravenscourt Park, and Goldhawk Road tube stations are all within a 10-minute walk.

An excellent restaurant; welcoming; interesting wine; seasonal ingredients treated with skill and respect. This place is about good food and flavour not chef flimflam. Best crab soup I've ever eaten, with the freshest of crab toasts alongside. Well priced. One of those restaurants where you can have a good conversation.

It had unusual food - we had onglet steak and braised pork cheeks both of which were delicious. It is a small restaurant with very good service, and particularly noticeable was the quiet atmosphere so we could actually be able to conduct and enjoy conversation!

A friend and I had an early supper at the Brackenbury this week. We arrived on time, were greeted courteously by one of the staff, and given a table outside - which was lovely in the very hot London weather. The service was impeccable - attentive but not obtrusive - and the food was splendid. We both had the same things - a totally delicious steak, with crisp tasty chips and salad, followed by perfectly ripe strawberries and merangues and a piping hot coffee. All in all, a perfect evening.

The Brackenbury is the perfect local restaurant. Well cooked food in comfortable surroundings. Charming well informed staff . Very convenient for me and my family. Please don't change a thing, except the stairs which are a challenge to those of us who have only one functioning knee.

My son in law said he had never had such a delicious pork chop - he is a keen cook and knows the problems of the hard chop. I had a pesto style sauce with my grilled asparagus which was unusual and very, very good. My grandson (14) always has the same thing at the Brackenbury, pasta followed by ribeye steak frites. He sees no reason to change it.

Great as always. Both service and food.

Out of the way and out of the ordinary. This little gem is tucked in on Brackenbury Road and worth every second you spend locating it. As an out of towner, I wasn’t t sure that Google was leading me to the right location, but what a reward we got. The food is delightful. Artistically presented, skillfully prepared and perfect. A lovely wine list tops it off. The staff are friendly and very eager to make it a good dining experience. But the food! Just excellent. We have to go back before we go home.
