We ate at the Boat Inn on a Saturday afternoon with friends. The welcome from staff was friendly, the premises were clean and we were shown to our table when we were ready. The food was good,3 had fish and chips and the other chicken pie and we were pleased with our choice and the service. We were not hurried during or after our meal and the service was attentive. Overall, a very good dining experience, the only drawback was the heating in the premises,it was a cold day and out of 4 open fires, only 2 were lit, shame!.

Lovely setting, sea bass was lovely, however, one of our party ordered a rare steak and it was 'tough as old boots'!! A bit disappointed really.

Menu was great a good varied choice , loved the sharing starter and our mains of Sea Bass and steak and mushroom pie were cooked to perfection and thoroughly enjoyed. Service was fab and the time taken to discuss our experience at the end was appreciated.
