The food was excellent, as was the service.

Had the set Valentines meal. Five courses - the meat main course could have been a little more imaginative.Otherwise a perfect evening. Service and food were first class. Joked with our waiter that the peculiar handle on the coffee cup was for right handed people - my wife is left handed!

Quirky leopard skinned bar with live music for pre-dinner drinks. Beautiful quiet surroundings for meal, friendly staff and lightening service, but main feature was undoubtably the excellent food. All 6 courses (2 of us) fabulously cooked and prepared, and just that little bit different to make them a joy to eat.

A very nice setting in well appointed rooms. Friendly staff and a good range of choices on the menu. The food was excellent, well prepared and well presented.

Loved it. Can't wait to return.

Ambience, service, friendly staff and location (convenience to British Museum) great. Breads good, deserts good, wine excellent but main course - chicken, smoked bacon, tomato, avocado, cheese and beetroot salad - really rather poor. Little or no flavour, on two of the 3 plates there was only a single cubic centimeter of avocado and the chicken was over-cooked and dried up. A shame.

Late lunch before travelling home during dinner time. Had visited British Museum beforehand and researched somewhere to eat nearby. The Blue Door met our requirements well. Both had battered fish and chips and a glass of wine. Service was efficient, charming and attentive. Dining room was full of charm. Price was very reasonable given location and standard of food and service.
