With the local town of Witney famous for its bread and beer, The Blue Boar pays tribute to the town's heritage. These historic staples are represented in excellent form in this cosy restaurant and bar.
Mediterranean-inspired dishes are served throughout the day on the Blue Boar menu, along with traditional pub classics and modern British dishes. A children's menu complete with fun activity sheet is also available.
Guests can watch their food cooked fresh to order in the open-plan theatre kitchen, and listen to meats sizzle on the unique charcoal-fuelled Josper grill.
Meats are of premium quality, including 100% British cuts sourced from Aubrey Allen, who won 'Ethical Meat Supplier of the Year' 3 times. Pork, chicken and eggs are all free range, and beef is dry-aged on the bone for 21 days to tenderise the meat and intensify the flavour.
