We had a delicious and great value lunch. Starting with the risotto, which had an intense fresh pea flavour and moving to the roasted hake. It was a lovely day so we sat on the balcony overlooking the river. Thoroughly enjoyable.

We love this place and the food was as fantastic as always, the Pork Belly dish was devine! The exceptional service is what makes this a truly great place. The welcome is amazing and whole team are fantastic, from the management to the Head Waiter, to the waiters and the cocktail guys... we will be back again soon.

My wife & I went for afternoon tea. It was excellent. We sat on the balcony overlooking the River Thames. We service and the food was first class. We couldn't eat all the cakes, so they kindly boxed them for us to take away.

Great location, welcome, service, attention to detail, amazing food. But noisy due to lack of capers or curtains or anything that would absorb sound. Difficult to hear the conversation so we left early to have coffee at home.

The refurbished restaurant and hotel looks great and continues to deliver exceptional and great value food. The staff are politely attentive and appeared to remember us from previous visits. They were calm, considerate and accommodating, and professional even with a wedding happening at the same time as the lunch service. Highly recommend this high quality and reliable dining experience.

Excellent food, tasty and beautiful presentation; interesting and varied choice of dishes on lunch menu. Lovely room. Excellent careful friendly service. Leisurely meal possible, and time for talk over lunch. Only problem was large hen party, who were fine once they sat down to eat; but very noisy indeed and crowding room as they assembled for at least 25 mins. Would have been better for us if they had been able to gather initially in another room, and then come in when they were ready to eat. We could hardly hear ourselves speak.

We just had the champagne afternoon tea to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Very relaxed pleasant occasion made the more so by the helpful polite staff.

The setting was lovely; we sat out on the balcony initially but it was too warm to remain, so we moved indoors to a large table overlooking the river Thames. We had the 3 course lunch which was superb, beautifully presented and quite delicious. It was my mum's birthday and she was presented with truffles and Happy Birthday in chocolate which was very thoughtful. Favourite starter was the wild garlic veloute, favourite main was the gnocchi. Waiters were very well trained and attentive but discrete and not overly fussy.
