The staff could not be more helpful when accommodating our lunchtime booking. Menu gave good selection of light meals alongside the two and three course options. Our dining experience was very relaxed and informal with views over the river.

Formidable dining experience, very tasty cuisine. Great cocktails as well. Service was gorgeous.

Beautiful restaurant and food and service were excellent evening was spoiled though by the thumping bass music coming from the wedding party downstairs enough to make our floor vibrate such a shame

Food was exquisite but the service and welcome was a little frosty. Dining room overlooking the river is stunning but sadly not very busy and lacking in atmosphere. Lunchtime menu was delicious and worth every penny

The book-lined dining room with terrace and views over the river is lovely. The service was attentive and friendly. We had the 6 course menu and while there are a couple of standout dishes (the venison and the cod were delicious) our main critique was that it took over 2.5 hours to serve us the food. We were told at the end of the meal that the menu had changed and there were issues in the kitchen but it was far too long to wait in between the courses. It also felt a bit cheeky to include a tiny apple sorbet as one of the six courses, when the waiter in fact described it as a palate cleanser. Leave it off the menu and it would be a pleasant surprise!

I booked this last minute and so glad I did. We had a cocktail in the bar beforehand and then went through to the restaurant to have the chef's tasting menu with wine pairing. One of the best meals I have had in a while and the wine pairing was amazing. All the staff were really friendly and attentive. The décor is really lovely too. 2 cocktails, 7 course tasting menu and wine pairing came to £300 for 2 people which whilst pricey was very good value - definitely worth it and perfect for a special occasion. We shall be back!

A gorgeous Saturday afternoon lunch in September. Impeccable, friendly service (thank you especially for making last minute parking arrangements). Great food to boot. Only ask would be to have a clearer signage outside. On a busy road, difficult to spot the restaurant unless you’ve been there before.

A marvellous restaurant set in a beautiful hotel on the river. Menu is short but all super tasty. I had fish of the day, hake, which was full of flavours. Linda and I sat in the sun on the terrace, laughed and fell in love with the place. You need to go here.
