We had a lovely evening on Saturday. We were welcomed at the entrance and immediately put at ease by the staff explaining to us what we needed to do, which was very reassuring, then shown to our table. Ordering from the app and paying by PayPal was very easy (remember to enter your table number). The only difficultly was deciding what to choose from such a great menu. Credit to the chef and kitchen staff, as the food and presentation were amazing. The cocktails were fantastic and made extra special by being beautifully presented. It was very clear that a lot of hard work and effort had gone into making this beautiful pub safe for us to enjoy again. The team did a fantastic job ?? Well done, thank you for all your hard work and for a great evening. Looking forward to returning very soon.

Amazing food and great presentation. Loved the smoky burger, if a little too much salt on all dishes.

The Belle is my favourite place for a local lunch. The staff are so friendly and the food is excellent. The mushroom wellington is superb, I order it every time! Highly recommended.

The interior is beautifully decorated and feels sumptuous and classy. We loved the rich colour palette and the little touches like the individual hand towels in the toilets. The food was delicious and attention to detail was again perfect. We loved our experience and will definitely return.

Food wasn’t that good. The lamb was over priced and the Gravy was tasteless. The pudding was so disgusting I sent it back. Another pudding on our table was cold in the middle and also sent back. Good selection of gin!! Wine was over priced at over £20 a bottle!

To be honest, dissapointed with the food although the place itself is done up very nicely & staff very friendly. It was our first visit, a Thursday lunchtime, pub was reasonably busy but there were only a handful of diners and ourselves. We had starters, one squid which was a bit anemic looking & was served very greasy, not drained off. The pate was OK but nothing special. Mains were fishcakes and a BLT with fries. Again the skinny fries looked anemic & werent crisp & just not very good, I suspect because the oil temperature was too low, same comment on squid. Fishcakes were dissapointing, a bit dry & would have benefited from some sauce. The BLT was at best dissapointing Look, perhaps we caught it on a bad day & the guys are trying really hard & in fairness, the majority of the reviews on Tripadviser are good except for the odd howler so probally best not to take my review in isolation

We had starters, mains and desserts each. We had a bit of a wait for our order to be taken but once order taken and food arrived it was all worth the wait. Each dish was full of flavours. Each dish was excellent.I could not begin to say which was my favourite, I can tell you what we had and say all would be ordered again happily. I had fried squid with parsnip puree, yum, the other stater was the venison, absolutely amazing.I had tagliatelle, full of flavour.Other main was the stonebass, I was hold that was orgasmic! We both had the brownie with raspberry sorbet. This was not too much to finish meal, not too rich, lovely sharp sorbet with warm gooey chocolate.Perfect.
