It was a very busy Sunday Lunch booking, and booked table was laid ready for us (the last table).
Roast Sunday Lunch was very well cooked and served. I have been there several times before but this was a first Sunday roast. I recommend it.

With open-air seating as well as a glass-covered area, The Bell Inn is a refurbished traditional country-style pub serving British gastro pub fare. Inside, exposed beams on the ceilings, leather armchairs and log fireplaces ensure there are plenty of cosy corners to enjoy a hearty meal or a refreshing drink.
With chefs given the opportunity to train at cookery schools in Spain and Italy, The Bell Inn menu features modern signature recipes made using the finest ingredients. As well as creative daily-changing specials, favourites include king prawn, crab and chorizo linguine, or spit-roasted chicken with lemon & garlic confit. A kids’ menu and Sunday roasts also feature, and desserts include rich vanilla and chocolate gelato with home-baked cookies.
The result of a treasured partnership with Rothschild wine merchants, the cellar showcases many fine wines, while token real ales and premium spirits are found at The Bell Inn bar. Nostalgic British nibbles and sharing platters bursting with international flavours offer more laidback dining.

The food was cold, and tasteless. The service wasn't great but the taste of the food was worse

It was very good.
We will put it next to the door in the conservatory which was not the best sport-perhaps table layouts could be considered or door kept shut

Visited The Bell Inn for a Sunday lunch business meeting. Plenty of parking, spacious and well laid out interior. Very friendly and helpful staff - attentive without being intrusive. A fantastic varied menu. Food was delivered quickly and to an excellent standard (and generous portions too!) Reasonably priced

Nice area in the conservatory for Sunday lunch, food was very good. Husband was a little disappointed they ran out of beer (Sunday lunchtime!) but they did eventually find some. On the slightly more expensive side but worth the money I think for a lovely lunch and ok for younger children.

Food excellent. Restaurant has open and friendly atmosphere. Classy but still reasonably priced. One of my favourite gastropubs in the area.

Inferior food, attemptedly "jazzed up" by trying to be clever.

Great food (again), wonderful setting - always choose the conservatory, very funny and attentive staff (barman)

Food and service ok but the place was freezing as the heating had packed up and there was no emergency back up. This was the coldest night of the year so far and it is no fun eating in coats and scarfs. Management not very sympathetic.
Not to be recommended in the winter
