It was a very busy Sunday Lunch booking, and booked table was laid ready for us (the last table).
Roast Sunday Lunch was very well cooked and served. I have been there several times before but this was a first Sunday roast. I recommend it.

With open-air seating as well as a glass-covered area, The Bell Inn is a refurbished traditional country-style pub serving British gastro pub fare. Inside, exposed beams on the ceilings, leather armchairs and log fireplaces ensure there are plenty of cosy corners to enjoy a hearty meal or a refreshing drink.
With chefs given the opportunity to train at cookery schools in Spain and Italy, The Bell Inn menu features modern signature recipes made using the finest ingredients. As well as creative daily-changing specials, favourites include king prawn, crab and chorizo linguine, or spit-roasted chicken with lemon & garlic confit. A kids’ menu and Sunday roasts also feature, and desserts include rich vanilla and chocolate gelato with home-baked cookies.
The result of a treasured partnership with Rothschild wine merchants, the cellar showcases many fine wines, while token real ales and premium spirits are found at The Bell Inn bar. Nostalgic British nibbles and sharing platters bursting with international flavours offer more laidback dining.

Unfortunately our meal was very disappointing, we felt it had been cooked and left in the kitchen for several hours.

Food was lukewarm and could have been a bit hotter however it did have a good taste.

Food was good, well presented and tasty but overpriced in our view.Service was slow and waitress very unwelcoming.Extremely noisy main restaurant made it difficult on a table for four to have a relaxed meal. Extremely uncomfortable seating on hard wooden chairs. Used to dine here often but will no longer.

Great countryside restaurant/pub. Lovely fire place

Been here a few times but have to say the food was not too good this time. Fillet steak for c£23 was sent back because it was really touch and overlooked. This was swapped and removed from the bill in fairness.
Also had the roast Chicken which was over cooked but just about passable. Pizza pretty average.
Salmon was nice.
This is a nice place and the food needs to be improved on this showing.

Very good food but unfortunately had run out of a couple of the dishes we ordered however that does indicate that food is freshly made. A good little pub restaurant.
