the food is good - but not great; the service is variable; having booked I expected to be given a table on arrival but was told that the only table left was by a door on a cold and windy night. Was told that all the other tables were reserved (there was a large party which arrived about 1/2 hour later). Eventually the manager saw that a couple was sitting at 'our' table which had a reserved notice on it. Waitress had a strong NZ/Ozzie accent and neither of us could understand her list of specials but there was a clear chalkboard in view so that was OK. Price was about £10.00 more than I thought would be reasonable.
