Dating back to the 15th century, this traditional village pub serves homemade food, real ales and continental lagers. You can also choose from a superb wine list and both well-behaved children and dogs are welcome. In the summer, you can drink and dine outside in the delightful beer gardens whilst during cold winter nights, the wood burning fire keeps the ambience warm and cosy inside. All of the food is homemade and locally sourced for the seasonal, regularly changing menu. Fresh fish is delivered daily from Rye Harbour and free range meat is supplied by Park Farm butchers of Hawkhurst. On a Sunday, The Bell at Iden serves a traditional roast featuring free range beef, as well as a vegetarian nut roast.
