Situated on Eastbourne's seafront, within The Burlington Hotel on the corner of Terminus Road and Grand Parade, this cafe-restaurant brings a little slice of Belgium to the Sussex coast. Inside, it is practically a shrine to all things Belgian, with pictures of Tintin on the walls and advertisements for Belgian beers - all of which can be found on the 100-strong beer menu. Despite being a part of a Georgian building, the cafe is light, modern and airy with a fine art deco maple bar and stripped wood floors. It also offers fantastic views over the Pier and towards Beachy Head. The food focuses on traditional Belgian mussels with endless varieties of ingredients and flavours, and they all come with crunchy, fluffy frites and mayonnaise. This spacious seafood restaurant also offers additional al fresco seating; perfect for lovely summer evenings.
