Housed in a building dating back to 1651, The Barnt Green Inn is a refurbished gastro pub with a large patio for al fresco dining, serving a menu of modern British fare. Inside, wood carvings & mirrors adorn the walls, and the many leather sofas and open log fires ensure there is always a cosy space in the bar or restaurant to enjoy an intimate gathering.

With chefs given the opportunity to train at cookery schools in Spain and Italy, The Barnt Green Inn menu features modern signature recipes made using the finest available ingredients. As well as creative daily-changing specials, favourites include king prawn, crab and chorizo linguine, or spit-roasted chicken with lemon & garlic confit. A kids’ menu and Sunday roasts also feature, and desserts include rich vanilla and chocolate gelato with home-baked cookies.

The result of a treasured partnership with Rothschild wine merchants, the cellar showcases many fine wines, while token real ales and premium spirits are found at The Barnt Green bar. Nostalgic British nibbles and eclectic sharing platters bursting with international flavours offer more laidback dining.

The Barnt Green Inn in Birmingham is a 6-minute walk from Barnt Green Rail Station.

Welcoming, good ambience, professional helpful and engaging young male waiter. Food was of an acceptable standard but not ecxceptional. However, this was a late afternoon Sunday lunch.

We had a wonderful time at the Barnt Green Inn.
Served promptly at the bar on arrival and seated at our table straight away. The waiter was attentive without intruding. Our meals were excellent and great value too, we'll certainly return and wholeheartedly recommend.

Meal and service was superb, restaurant was very noisy due to a ladies group being very loud, staff asked them to be quite and it did settle down a bit. Very good meal though.
